Light therapy is used in many non-invasive slimming and tightening treatments. The technology encourages collagen production in the tissue by heating the skin to improve elasticity and structure for tighter, firmer skin.SkinTyte uses infrared-light technology and targets deep into the dermal layer of skin. When the dermis is heated, the body begins producing new collagen. The treatment can target mild sagging in the face, jawline, neck, abdomen, arms, and thighs. It is safe for all skin types and tones.

The treatments usually last 30 minutes per session. A gel is first applied to protect the skin and prevent overheating.

Patients describe the sensation as a warm massage. They may experience slightly pink and red skin after the procedure, which will subside half an hour later. While there will be no swelling or bruising, the skin becomes more sensitive to sun exposure. Patients should use an SPF of at least 30. A total of 6 treatments are necessary for visible results that can last up to 2 years. UltraSlim is a non-invasive treatment that can reduce fat cells using red-light technology.

The procedure begins with the patient lying down as the light is placed right above the skin's surface. The LED light creates a hole in the fat cell's membrane through which fatty acids start to drain. The lymphatic system then naturally removes the fatty acids, and the fat cells decrease in size. At least six weekly sessions are needed for noticeable results. This non-surgical red-light treatment also increases collagen production to improve the structure and elasticity of the skin. The treatment takes 30 minutes and does not require an anesthetic or downtime.
