HydraFacial, also known as hydra-dermabrasion, is similar to a traditional facial and microdermabrasion but provides more dramatic results. The device can cleanse, exfoliate, and extract clogged pores. It also rejuvenates and hydrates with special serums.
The treatment is suitable for all skin types and tones. It can treat various skin issues such as acne, dryness, and fine lines.
The HydraFacial device has different attachments that can perform various skin rejuvenating treatments. The vacuum feature can remove dead skin cells and debris from the outer layer of skin, like a mild peel, and extract oil and debris from clogged pores to eliminate blackheads and acne. It infuses the skin with beneficial serums such as antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid, and peptides. The treatment uses botanical ingredients like horse chestnut seed, red algae extract, zinc, and magnesium to help hydrate and renew the skin.
HydraFacials are highly customizable. Practitioners adjust the treatment to each patient's skin concerns, skin type, and goals. In a few sessions, the skin is clearer, lines and wrinkles improve, pores reduce in size, and the complexion is more even.
HydraFacials are a lunchtime treatment. They only last 30 minutes, and no downtime is required. The effects of the procedure are visible after the first session.
There are three steps to a HydraFacial treatment:
1.
The first step is the clean and peel procedure. The practitioner exfoliates the skin and removes all dead skin cells from the surface layer using the HydraFacial tip.
2.
The second step is extracting and hydrating. Dirt and debris are removed from the pores during this stage, and a hydrating moisturizer is applied.
3.
Lastly, during the fuse and protect step, booster serums are applied that have been selected depending on each patient's specific skin issues and goals. These serums even out skin, fade scars, decrease pore size, and reduce wrinkles and lines.
