Facials are beauty treatments performed in a spa, salon, or doctor's office. They help cleanse the skin, remove dead skin, hydrate, and target concerns like acne or aging. Facials are gentle on the skin and can be used on any skin type to address each patient's specific problems.

Facials are often combined with other procedures, such as chemical peels, radiofrequency treatments, dermaplaning, high-frequency microcurrent treatments, light treatments, or micro-needling to achieve better results.

Oxygen facials are great for recovering from intensive laser resurfacing treatments. This treatment helps with the overall healing process.

Facials are customizable to each patient's specific needs and goals. The session begins with cleansing the skin.  Next, the complexion is analyzed to personalize the treatment. The skin is exfoliated to remove dead skin cells and blackheads. The face, neck, and decolletage are massaged before applying a treatment mask. Finally, serum and moisturizer are applied at the end of the session. The average facial lasts about an hour.  The results of facials last for up to 2 weeks and must be maintained with regular sessions to keep the skin looking fresh and rejuvenated.

Besides the facials performed in spas and salons, there are facials only offered in a doctor's clinic called medical facials. The products used during medical facials have active ingredients with higher concentrations than those used at a spa and require a doctor's supervision. This increased potency ensures superior results.

One example is the stem cell facial, also known as the Vampire Facial. During this treatment,
plasma is extracted from the patient's blood. It is then applied to the skin as an anti-aging treatment to encourage collagen production.

Another treatment is the 30-minute HydraFacial which is personalized to target many skin concerns. The device cleanses the skin, exfoliates, and applies booster serums. These serums contain antioxidants and Hyaluronic Acid to keep the skin protected, calm and moisturized. With regular sessions, medical facials can significantly improve the skin. They can diminish scars, reduce fine lines, and brighten the skin.
