Radiofrequency (RF) energy is used in many anti-aging treatments to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Most devices work the same way by heating the skin with RF waves to increase cell turnover and collagen production. This improves skin elasticity and circulation and smooths out wrinkles. When used regularly these treatments can slow aging and preserve a youthful look.

DermaWand is a home-use device that can improve lax skin, reduce lines, and decrease pore size. It is safe for all skin types and tones and does not require an anesthetic or downtime. The device releases RF energy as it is massaged onto the skin improving blood circulation and oxygen production and stimulating collagen production. The treatment is quick, requiring only 3 minutes, twice a day.

Pellevé is a non-invasive skin-tightening procedure that uses RF energy to plump the skin and smooth the lines. It has two device sizes to treat different areas of the body. It heats the skin to 40°C to trigger collagen production and boost elasticity. The procedure is unsuitable for pregnant patients, patients who have recently taken Accutane, and patients with pacemakers or metal implants. Patients must avoid sun exposure and refrain from using Vitamin C skin care products for weeks before the procedure. The treatment can take 15 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size of the treatment area. The doctor will place a ground plate on the patient's back to minimize burns. A gel is then applied to massage the device over the skin smoothly. Patients need 3-5 treatments for visible results that last for a few years.

TempSure Envi is a non-surgical RF energy treatment suitable for all skin types and tones. It is mainly used on the face to reduce forehead lines, crow's feet, and smile lines. It emits RF energy deep into the dermis to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. It differs from other RF treatments as it also causes less nerve stimulation, resulting in the use of higher temperatures for better results. Doctors recommend four sessions, spaced 2-4 weeks apart.

ThermiSmooth Face is an RF device that smooths wrinkles and tightens skin on the cheeks and around the mouth. Each session takes 30-45 minutes. Practitioners introduce controlled heat to the dermis, tightening connective tissue and smoothing out lines. Three to 6 initial sessions are performed to achieve desired results, but maintenance treatments are required every 9-12 months.
