ClearCorrect is a set of transparent plastic aligners that straighten misaligned teeth. The treatment uses custom-made aligners, which can be removed easily as they gradually move the teeth into the desired position.

The procedure is similar to Invisalign. It is more discreet than metal braces; the transparent aligners are barely noticeable.

Unlike metal braces with sharp wires that may irritate the gums and lips, ClearCorrect is comfortable and completely safe. This treatment is suitable for both adults and teenagers. It can address various issues such as overcrowding, gaps, crooked teeth, and overbites. It can also help reduce muscle tension, improve gum health, and facilitate speech. Dentists recommend always wearing the aligners except when eating, drinking and brushing their teeth. 

Patients do not have to worry about having food build-up in their aligners, unlike metal braces that trap food between the wires. The plastic aligners are also durable enough to move the position of the teeth without breaking. 

Patients begin their ClearCorrect treatment with a consultation session. Dentists take images and digital scans of their mouths. They create models of their predicted results and draw up a treatment plan. Once the schedule is set, patients receive their sets of plastic aligners.

Three different plans are available depending on the condition and severity of the patient's misalignment. The Unlimited plan will offer patients as many aligners as needed to reach the desired results. The Limited 12 and Limited 6 programs will provide 12 and 6 sets of aligners, respectively. 

Once patients receive their aligners, they will have to wear them consistently and switch to the next set every three weeks. They may experience some pressure and discomfort when changing to a new one, but this should subside after a few days. Improvements can be seen with each set change. Patients should continue their treatment until their teeth are straightened.

Dentists request their patients return for an evaluation check every three months during the treatment to ensure they are progressing well.

Usually, the entire process takes 1-2 years to complete, but this largely depends on the severity of the misalignment. Some complex orthodontic cases may not be treated using ClearCorrect. In these cases, traditional metal braces may be a better option instead.
