The combination of radiofrequency (RF) and ultrasound (US) helps tighten the skin and reduce fat build-up. Accent Prime is a combined radiofrequency energy and ultrasound treatment. It can help treat stretch marks, uneven skin tone, and rough texture. The RF energy tightens loose skin on the face, neck, and body by heating collagen to tighten it and increase collagen production. The US disrupts fat cells causing them to be destroyed and removed from the body.

Professionals also use Accent Prime as a skin resurfacing treatment. The microplasma radiofrequency energy penetrates deep into the skin. The heat clears away damaged cells and creates controlled injuries. This, in turn, encourages collagen production for healing. Accent Prime is suitable for any skin tone.

This method can also be used for body contouring and reducing cellulite. It reaches deep into the fatty tissues in the body to accelerate metabolism and reduce fat. It also activates lymphatic drainage to minimize cellulite after just one session. A typical session lasts 30 minutes to an hour. A topical anesthetic is used to minimize discomfort so that patients only feel a warm sensation during the procedure. It requires no downtime. Doctors recommend having 4-6 sessions every two weeks for the best results.

Exilis uses the same technology. It aims to tighten and firm the skin and break down the
pockets of fat in the face, neck, jowls, abdomen, arms, and thighs. The treatment works by heating below the surface of the skin. It targets fat cells and breaks them down so the lymphatic system can dispose of them. It encourages collagen production, resulting in contoured, firm skin. Exilis helps target the areas of fat build-up resistant to exercise and diet. A session usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes. Patients experience warmth during the treatment and redness after the treatment.

The treatment does not require downtime. Patients should increase their water consumption to clear the damaged fat cells out of the system.

After the treatment, results will become visible gradually during the next 4 to 6 months and will last two years. Professionals recommend two to six sessions done every 7-10 days for optimal results.
