Emtone is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment that helps reduce the appearance of cellulite with a combination of radiofrequency and targeted pressure. The treatment is suitable for all skin tones and types. It can be performed on various body parts like thighs, buttocks, upper arms, and abdomen.

Emtone effectively targets some causes of cellulite dimples, including loss of skin elasticity, accumulation of fat, fluid retention, and poor blood circulation. The treatment works by warming up the layer under the skin using radiofrequency energy. This disrupts and minimizes fat cells, encourages collagen production, and tightens the skin. An added acoustic wave delivers sound waves into the tissue improving blood flow and promoting lymphatic drainage. The result is smoother, firmer skin with improved elasticity.

An Emtone treatment takes about 20 minutes on a single body area. Practitioners massage the device over the targeted area together with a moisturizing lotion. The treatment does not cause any pain, but patients may feel a slightly warm sensation on the skin. The skin tends to look a little red after the treatment.

There is no downtime and patients can resume their normal activities right after the treatment. Doctors recommend 4-6 sessions of Emtone for optimal results. As collagen production happens over time, noticeable results will only show three months after the last treatment. The results of the Emtone treatment are not permanent and patients who wish to
maintain them require follow-up sessions.
